The Registrar is a key administrative officer responsible for the custody of the records and property of the university. Serving as the ex officio secretary of both the Council and the Senate, the Registrar also acts as the Assistant Accounting Officer of the university. Under the direction and control of the Vice-Chancellor, the Registrar oversees the general administration of the university and manages the disciplinary control of its non-academic staff. Committed to enhancing the university’s operational efficiency, the Registrar plays an essential role in maintaining academic integrity and supporting the university community.

Mr. K. K. K. Dharmathilaka graduated from the University of Colombo and earned Master of Social Sciences degree and Master of Business Administration degree from University of Kelaniya. In addition, he possesses Postgraduate Diploma in Business Financial Administration. He has 23 years of experience as an Administrative Officer in the University Service.
